Jakarta (ANTARA) – German League club Bayern Munich have officially appointed Vincent Kompany as their new manager to replace Thomas Tuchel who left.

Quoted from the club’s official website, Bayern Munich and Vincent Kompany agreed on Wednesday to work together on a contract until 30 June 2027.

Kompany said he is looking forward to coaching the Die Bavarian team and taking on the challenges that exist with Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen explained that the club’s officials have agreed to appoint Vincent Kompany as the new coach.

“All of us at the club agree that Vincent Kompany is the right coach for FC Bayern and we look forward to working with him,” Dreesen said.

Regarding the reasons for choosing Kompany as the new coach, Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund explained that the Belgian coach has a philosophy and identity in line with Die Roten.

“He is a very ambitious young coach with a lot of international experience. He is very thorough when it comes to the players and knows exactly what needs to happen on the pitch. He can and will bring a lot to our team,” explained Freund. .
