Jakarta (ANTARA) – Chelsea have officially completed the transfer of Spanish striker Marc Guiu from FC Barcelona, the English Premier League club said on Monday.
“Chelsea are delighted to announce the signing of FC Barcelona striker Marc Guiu,” the Blues said on their website on Monday.
Marc Guiu has signed a five-year contract with Chelsea until 2030, including an option for a one-year extension.
The 18-year-old striker admitted he was delighted to join Chelsea and be able to play in the Premier League.

“Since I was little, I have always dreamed of playing in the English Premier League,” Guiu said in his interview after officially joining.
“Now I have the opportunity to join Chelsea. I will work hard to succeed at this club,” he continued.
Guiu is a player who graduated from Barcelona’s “La Masia” youth system and joined the first team for the 2023/24 season.
Since his debut, Guiu has appeared just four times and scored two goals in all competitions, including when Barcelona defeated Royal Antwerp 3-2 in the Champions League group stage on 23 December 2023.
