China waives visas for New Zealand, Australia and Poland

From July 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025, citizens of these three countries with ordinary passports will be able to enter and stay in China without a visa for up to 15 days for business, tourism, visiting relatives, friends or otherwise.

Beijing (ANTARA) – China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday it will expand its visa-free policy to New Zealand, Australia and Poland.

On the same day, at a press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that from July 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025, citizens of these three countries who have ordinary passports will be able to enter and stay in China without a visa for up to 15 days. for business, tourism, visiting relatives, friends or transit.

Meanwhile, individuals from these three countries who do not meet the visa exemption criteria must still obtain a Chinese visa before entering, Mao said.

“At the same time, relevant countries are expected to provide more visa convenience to Chinese citizens,” Mao said.
