Erdogan: Netanyahu would make Hitler jealous with his genocidal methods

“We defend their rights. We defend peace. Israel, on the other hand, continues to recklessly violate United Nations resolutions, international law and human rights.”

Istanbul (ANTARA) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had reached common ground with a genocidal method that he said would make Hitler jealous.

“Netanyahu has reached a level that Hitler would envy with his genocidal methods. “We are talking about Israel targeting ambulances, attacking food distribution points and shooting at humanitarian convoys,” Erdogan told the Greek newspaper Kathimerini in an interview on Sunday.

Erdogan wondered how it was possible to witness what Israel has been doing to the population of Gaza for months and considered Israel’s actions of bombing hospitals to be justified.

Again comparing him to Hitler, Erdogan said that Israel also kills children, oppresses civilians and makes innocent people hungry, thirsty and without medicine for various reasons.

“What did Hitler do in the past? He oppressed and killed people in concentration camps,” he said.

Erdogan further stated that Gaza turned into an open-air prison not only after October 7, but also years before.

“Aren’t people there locked up for years in limited resources, almost like in concentration camps? “Who is responsible for the most brutal and systematic mass killings that occurred in Gaza after October 7?”, she said.

He stressed that the rights and freedoms of the people of Gaza, especially the right to life, have been violated. Palestinian resistance, he said, would not be necessary if there existed a sovereign, independent and geographically integrated Palestinian state, in line with the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

“We defend their rights. We defend peace. “Israel, on the other hand, continues to recklessly violate United Nations resolutions, international law and human rights,” she stressed.

Erdogan added that the Palestinian group accepted the ceasefire agreement, but Israel does not want the ceasefire because it wants to occupy the entire Gaza area.
