Internet service was disrupted in the Gaza area due to Israeli attacks

Gaza City, Palestine (ANTARA) – Internet services have been disrupted in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip, according to a report published Saturday (25/5) by Palestinian telecommunications company Paltel.

In a statement on X, the company said its services have been disrupted by continued Israeli attacks in the region.

“Our crews are working hard to restore service as quickly as possible,” the company said.

The blockaded enclave has faced several communications and internet outages due to brutal Israeli attacks in the area that have left more than 35,900 people dead since October last year.

More than seven months into the conflict, much of Gaza has been destroyed and paralyzed by blockades of food, clean water and medicine.

Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) was accused of committing genocide.

The International Court of Justice called on Tel Aviv to prevent its forces from carrying out such actions and to ensure that humanitarian aid can reach civilians in Gaza.

In its latest decision on Friday (24/5), the UN court ordered Israel to stop its attacks on the southern city of Rafah.
