ANTARA – Iran and Bahrain have agreed to start talks on restoring bilateral political relations after an eight-year diplomatic freeze. Iranian Interim Foreign Minister (Menlu) Ali Bagheri Kani and Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani met in Tehran, the capital of Iran, within the framework of historical and fraternal relations, religious and neighborly ties , of the shared history and common interests of the two countries.
