MAINGEAR Unveils Pre-Built NV9 Zero & ZERO Drop PCs With MSI Backside Connector Motherboards, Clutter-Free Design

MAINGEAR has introduced its brand new pre-built gaming PCs with MSI’s backside connector motherboards in a clutter-free PC design.

MAINGEAR NV9 Zero & Zero Drop PCs Set The Stage For Backside Connector & Clutter-Free Pre-Builds

Backside connectors and connector-less designs are taking the PC industry by storm. We have seen several products throughout 2023 adopt these designs and it looks like the next step will be the adoption of these new features by system integrators with MAINGEAR leading the charge. The company is redefining the PC experience with its new MG-RC (MAINGEAR Rear Connection) designs which are a collaboration between the company and the likes of MSI and Phanteks who will be the leading suppliers of PC components such as motherboards, cases, and graphics cards for these PC builds.

The company has two builds planned out for 2024. First up is the fully functional MAINGEAR ZERO Drop which is made up of MSI’s MAG Pano M1000 PZ white chassis and the MSI B760M Project Zero motherboard. The motherboard is designed with backside connectors plus the new Pano M1000 PZ chassis complements this design by offering support for such motherboards with the proper rear-ended cutouts.

The MAINGEAR ZERO Drop is centered around the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series with the 4070 Ti SUPER making its way in this design. The ZERO will drop on the 24th of January and initial suppliers will be limited.

Then there’s the more interesting NV9: ZERO concept which makes use of the Phanteks NV9 PC chassis and the higher-end MSI Z790 Project Zero motherboard. This PC also incorporates the higher-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER graphics cards and up to the Core i9-14900K CPU coupled with a Phanteks Glacier One AIO liquid cooler which is a 420mm beast. MAINGEAR also plans to release an LCD variant of this PC which will be placed within the case itself and allow full user customization options. Currently, this PC is targeting a Q1 2024 launch while details on the prices are yet to be disclosed.

Now the whole design has its advantages, especially being clutter-free on the front-side of the chassis and that also leads to better airflow since there are fewer cables. We look forward to see these MAINGEAR pre-built PCs in 2024 and other similar options from the rest of the industry.
